My passion for metal music and its subculture began many years ago, when I was just eight years old. It all began with a T-shirt featuring Iron Maiden's "Piece of Mind" album art. As soon as I heard "Where Eagles Dare" erupt from the speakers, I was captivated by the raw energy and power of the music. Now, 36 years later, my love for this genre remains just as strong and pure as it did back then.
This project is a visual representation of that transformative moment in 1984 when my love for metal music was ignited. It's a tribute to the bands and albums that have defined my life, and a celebration of the culture and community that surrounds this genre. Through this project, I hope to capture the essence of what drew me to metal music all those years ago, and what continues to inspire and move me today.
